Lebanon Maps Website: www.LebanonMaps.com.lb

LebanonMaps.net is a publicly available, interactive Internet-based application, built on a comprehensive tourism database of more than 15,000 points of interest (POIs), plotted by the SRI-INMA team on satellite maps and supported by a powerful routing engine. For the First time, travelers to Lebanon can "query" a specific tourism attraction to locate it on a map, "zoom in" & "zoom out" and get customized itineraries and driving directions from one location to another. Detailed descriptions, photos, and contact information are available for most major and minor tourist sites and lodging throughout the country.

With the launch of LebanonMaps.net, Lebanon is now the first country in the Middle East to have a freely available online mapping engine that provides: Comprehensive covarage of the entire country, along with driving directions to thousands of points across the country; and Tourism-focused interactive maps which are fully integrated with photos and descriptions of all the tourist sites in the country.
LebanonMaps.net joins the partner website www.LebanonMaps.com.lb   and www.DestinationLebanon.gov.lb  as in integral part of a world-class national Tourism information infrastructure to support Lebanese tourism development. It is part of a joint effort between SRI-INMA, the Ministry of Tourism and the Directorate of Geographical Affairs Lebanese Army Command, under financial support of the USAID Lebanon Mission to achieve the objective of economic growth in rural Lebanon's Tourism Industry.
